Federal Reserve Banks

Ben Bernanke was a governor of one of the Federal Reserve Banks when he gave a speech on November 21, 2002. He was made Chairman of the Federal Reserve because he outlined the FIVE POINTS what he would do if our country faced another Great Depression - and this agreed with the elitists' agenda. So far, he HAS done four of the five in the order he gave them:

1. I will reduce interest rates to zero - done

2. I would buy securities from the banks to expand the fed's balance sheet - done

3. I will increase the money supply - done

4. I will buy our country's debt (that was QE1, QE2) - done

5. I will devalue the dollar by 40% - Expect this!

Note: Lindsay pointed out that FDR did this in 1933-34 when he said, bring in your one ounce gold pieces and the government will pay you $20.00. They issued a gold certificate which was worthless. FDR later announcement the price of gold would go up to $35.00 an ounce.

Unrelenting Global Economic Crisis for 2012?

Unrelenting Global Economic Crisis: A Doomsday View of 2012

Prof. James Petras
December 26, 2011
The economic, political and social outlook for 2012 is profoundly negative. The almost universal consensus, even among mainstream orthodox economists is pessimistic regarding the world economy. Although, even here, their predictions understate the scope and depth of the crises, there are powerful reasons to believe that beginning in 2012, we are heading toward a steeper decline than what was experienced during the Great Recession of 2008 – 2009. With fewer resources, greater debt and increasing popular resistance to shouldering the burden of saving the capitalist system, the governments cannot bail out the system.

Many of the major institutions and economic relations which were cause and consequence of world and regional capitalist expansion over the past three decades are in the process of disintegration and disarray. The previous economic engines of global expansio…

Top three potential Catastrophes

The Number One Catastrophic Event That Americans Worry About: Economic Collapse

Can you guess what the number one catastrophic event that Americans worry about is? There are certainly many to choose from. Many Americans are deathly afraid of a major terrorist attack. Others live in constant fear of natural disasters such as earthquakes, volcanoes and hurricanes. Still others are incredibly concerned that a massive pandemic will break out at any time or that World War III will erupt in the Middle East. Yes, there are certainly a lot of potential catastrophic events that one can worry about in the times in which we live, but the number one catastrophic event that Americans worry about is actually "economic collapse". At least that is what a recent survey conducted by Leiflin Inc. for the EcoHealth Alliance found. But this goes along with what so many other polls have found over the past few years. Over and over again, opinion polls have found that the number one issue that Ame…

In relation to a coming catastrophe

In relation to a coming catastrophe you need to choose whether you believe the common fairy tale that mankind suddenly and miraculously appeared a few thousand years ago or not. If so you will probably underestimate what's about to happen. If not, you will need to respect the very fact that civilization only goes back a few thousand years though genetics and common sense suggests mankind must've been around far far longer, even hundreds of thousands of years back. So where are those peoples? Gone. Dead. Even traces of them destroyed to the extent that in the end all we see of them are the Sphinx, some pyramids, landing sites in the Andes, the Bible, etc. All this suggests destruction that caught everyone off guard and no one unprepared survived, and probably even most prepared folks.
You need to ask yourself, how stupid do you think they were? Hubris kills. Just because you think you're smarter than the billions who went before us doesn't mean it's true. No one want…

How I Selected The 10 Best Places To Survive In America

How I Selected The 10 Best Places To Survive In America Here’s some of the criteria I used to come up with my list.
The single biggest factor was the price of real estate. Hey, the best place to survive in America isn’t worth squat if you can’t afford to buy a place there! And for anyone who has lived a self reliant lifestyle, you know that you can make it happen nearly anyplace as long as you have some determination and knowledge. It will also help if you have a solid work ethic.
Next, I looked at the climate. While not a big factor, it has to be taken into account. While some may prefer the dry heat of the deserts, others prefer the cooler temps of the upper midwest.
Another criteria that I looked at is the availability of natural resources. If a collapse or other type of man made disaster were to strike, then the availability of natural resources will suddenly become very important to a lot of folks.
So without further delay, here are my choices of the Top 25 places to Survive in …

Why We Must Stop SOPA

Why We Must Stop SOPA

Right now, there are two pieces of legislation in Congress that would change the Internet forever if they are enacted. The Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) and the Protect Intellectual Property Act (PIPA) would give the federal government the ability to potentially shut down millions of websites. SOPA (the version being considered in the U.S. House of Representatives) is the more dangerous of the two. It would essentially be the equivalent of a nuclear bomb being dropped on the Internet. It would give government officials unlimited power to very rapidly shut down any website that is found to "engage in, enable or facilitate" copyright infringement. That language is very broad and very vague. Many fear that it will be used to shut down any websites that even inadvertently link to "infringing material". Can you imagine a world where there is no more Facebook, Twitter or YouTube? Sites like those would be forced to hire thousands of Internet censors …

“The whole system is corrupt!”

A Run On The Global Banking System - How Close Are We? uest Post via Gonzalo Lira

Nine weeks after its bankruptcy, the general public still hasn’t quite realized the implications of the MF Global scandal.

My own sense is, this is the first tremor of the earthquake that’s coming to the global financial system. And how the central banks and financial regulators treated the “Systemically Important Financial Institutions” that had exposure to MF Global—to the detriment of the ordinary, blameless customer who got royally ripped off in its bankruptcy—is both the template of how the next financial crisis will be handled, and an accelerator that will make the next crisis happen that much sooner.

So first off, what happened with MF Global?

Simple: It went bankrupt—because it made bad bets on European sovereign debt, by way of leveraging positions 100-to-1. Yeah, I know: Stupid. Anyway, they went bankrupt—which in and of itself is no big deal.

actual confession from Ben Bernanke that the FEDERAL RESERVE BANK caused the Great Depression.

Bernanke: Federal Reserve caused Great Depression -- "We did it. ... very sorry, won't do it again" This article by WorldNetDaily is a real wake-up call for those who don't understand how money works and what causes the business cycle [ie. depressions/recessions/housing bubbles/etc.].

It's sooooo good that we have an actual confession from Ben Bernanke that the FEDERAL RESERVE BANK caused the Great Depression.

Bernanke: Federal Reserve caused Great Depression

Fed chief says, 'We did it. ... very sorry, won't do it again'

Posted: March 19, 2008By David Kupelian© 2011 WND

Despite the varied theories espoused by many establishment economists, it was none other than the Federal Reserve that caused the Great Depression and the horrific suffering, deprivation and dislocation America and the world experienced in its wake. At least, that's the clearly stated view of current Fed Chairman Ben Be…
