So there are things that can be changed, but there are some things seen, the fact that repentance has not occurred in the future. So what of the judgements and calamities coming? Ezra Taft Benson even warned us that the calamities are coming, and if we decieve ourselves to think they will be put aside because of the “righteousness of the saints” then we shall rue the day. Specifically he said, and this is not conditional:
