When this World attempts to pull you down, remember this Scripture

Zephaniah 3:17 The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.

The Apostle Paul Addresses Signs of Jesus' Return

When Jesus Christ’s disciples asked Him about His return and the “end of the world” their focus was not on the physical end of the earth and its civilization per se. They had in mind the end of the age of man’s rule (the Greek word translated “world” is aion, meaning “age”) and the commencement of a different age ruled by Jesus Christ as king, a reign identified elsewhere in Scripture as the kingdom of God.
In His reply, Christ described the many and varied conditions that would precede His return. They included such things as deception, wars, famines, disease epidemics, earthquakes and religious persecution, all culminating in an unprecedented time of worldwide calamity. We have already experienced in the disastrous 20th and 21st centuries many harbingers of just such a calamity. The earthquake in Japan and ensuing tsunami is a good example. But if we are to believe the prophecies of Scripture, there are many worse events yet to come. (Matt. 24: 3-29)

Michael D. Fortner. (The Coming Great Signs of the Return of Christ)

The Coming Great Signs of the Return of Christ This article was taken from my book:
The Approaching APOCALYPSE: A New Interpretation of Daniel and Revelation. When Christ came the first time there were signs in the heavens which brought the wise men to worship Jesus as a future king. Likewise, there will be signs in the heavens before his return.
Prophecy teachers have been teaching for over a hundred and fifty years that the end is near, especially the passed fifty years, but there have always been wars, famines, and social turmoil. These things alone, are not signs of the end. Jesus said that before he returns to judge the world there will be signs of his return. Most people are looking at world events for signs of Christ’s return, but the most important signs of which he spoke are not here on Earth but are in the heavens above. Great and momentous events will take place among the planets of this solar system.
In Matthew 24:29 Jesus described the events of the Day of Judgment, &qu…

Comment on Elder Bednar's Talk

I felt that Elder Bednar's talk is one of the great ones that some of us will remember and look back to for a long time to come. It left me wishing that I could get a copy to re-read over and over. If anyone knows if there is a way to get a copy of regional conference talks please let me know. I feel that it is one of the most important talks yet in preparing for the tribulation. It is one of the few talks that stresses the importance of being spiritually reborn as described in the Book of Mormon and New Testament. Elder Bednar referred to this as "the mighty change of heart" (Alma 5:2,14) and to conversion as apposed to merely having a testimony. When he said that a testimony will not be enough, I heard a few gasps in the audience, as if to say, "what more is there!". Then he went on to say, not just converted to the church or it's programs but converted unto the Lord. More gasps. He also said that testimony is merely that starting point.

"What We Might Expect in the Next Twenty-Five Years"

W. Cleon Skousen, First presented in Ogden, Utah, April 10, 1999

Introduction: What is the most exciting thing you can imagine happening next year? Our Heavenly Father knew that the child of men would be anxious to know about the future. However, his primary purpose in revealing the unfolding of spectacular events which no one could have anticipated is so that we can better prepare ourselves. That is the primary purpose of this presentation. As you will see, there is much for which we need to be prepared, and the Lord says “If ye are prepared, ye shall not fear.” 1

Here is what the scripture says about Adam.
“And Adam stood up in the midst of the congregation; and, notwithstanding he was bowed down with age, being full of the Holy Ghost, predicted whatsoever should befall his posterit…
