Emphasis Points in Religious Literacy:

"If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State."

Finding Truth is very important, but from the information gleaned from Religious Literacy so far, Mr. Prothero showed us how the Progressives have influenced Education and how the Media co-opted.

Stimulating the Brain:
I attended a training a couple of weeks and part of the lecture was on Media's influence on the youth (and of course everyone). One of the interesting bit of information shared was in reference what was referred as "Flashing". I wish I kn…

This is what Christmas is all about...

This is what Christmas is all about...
I need to read this every year at Christmas.

"Pa never had much compassion for the lazy or those who squandered their
means and then never had enough for the necessities. But for those who were
genuinely in need, his heart was as big as all outdoors. It was from him
that I learned the greatest joy in life comes from giving, not from receiving.

could read in the Bible.

After supper was over I took my boots off and stretched out in front of the
fireplace and waited for Pa to get down the old Bible. I was still feeling
sorry for myself and, to be honest, I wasn't in much of a mood to read
Scriptures. But Pa didn't get the …

The current European implosion is bringing about a probable once in a lifetime opportunity which sadly might just be the last chance this decade to buy physical gold before capital controls worldwide and within the U.S. make it difficult if not impossible. The history of economic strife and plans by world governments to impose massive restrictions on the flow of funds to prevent internal collapse make gold an attractive target for seizure as political failings along with management of command control economies demand the removal of all instruments which could allow independent transactions by the citizenry.

The central banks of the Western world are already grasping at straws as nations like Greece and Italy have already imposed stealth ca…

The Millennial Events - The Earth's Sabbath The Millennium

by W. Cleon Skousen

In the heartbeat of the soul of every human being there lies a relative degree of passion for perfection. It is the Platonic dream of beauty in the ultimate, of truth in the absolute and of nature in Utopia. These aspirations of the human intellect are perpetually endowed with the hope that sometime, somehow, a perfect order of heaven on earth will be established wherein all things will work together in a symphonic harmony forever.

In sixty centuries of man-made history the lineal descendants of Adam and Eve have struggled toward this destiny.

That there shall be such an era, the Lord assures us: “The great Millennium of which I have spoken by the mouth of my servants shall come.” (D&C 43:30) And then he declared: “Let the solemnities of eternity rest upon your minds,” and “gird up your loins lest ye be found among the wicked. Lift up your voices and spare not. Call upon the nations to repent, both old a…
