20 Signs That Europe Is Plunging Into A Full-Blown Economic Depression

Michael Snyder: An economic nightmare is descending on Europe. With each passing month, the economic numbers across Europe get even worse. At this point it is becoming extremely difficult for anyone to deny that Europe is plunging into a full-blown economic depression. In fact, some parts of Europe (NYSEArca:VGK) are already there. In Spain (NYSEArca:EWP) the overall unemployment rate is over 22 percent, and in Greece one out of every five retail establishments has already been closed down. All over Europe (NYSEArca:IEV), economic activity is rapidly slowing down, unemployment is skyrocketing and bad debts are unraveling. It isn’t even going to take a default by a nation such as Greece or a collapse of the euro to push Europe into an economic depression. All Europe has to do is to stay on the exact path that it is on right now and it will get there. Normally, Euro…

How to Survive the Calamities of the Last Days

Hugh W. Nibley, BYU Studies 25 (Winter 1985): 7-27

Foreword You'll notice here that I hardly make mention of gravity, if at all. That's because in actuality gravity doesn't really exist. What is known as gravity is actually magnetism, by which heavenly bodies out in space attract and repel each other and establish complex magnetic relationships. On Earth, much of the so-called gravity is simply atmospheric pressure that gives weight to small (relative to the planet) objects and alongside its magnetic field keeps them on its surface - much like underwater pressure in the ocean depth, which is the force of the sheer weight of the sea exerted on deep underwater objects such as submarines, atmospheric pressure is the weight of the volume of air above exerted on us here on the surface of the planet. As for the atmosphere itself, it is 'weighed down' and kept in place by the Earth's far more expansive and all-encompassing magnetosphere.
By the same token, there are no such things as 'gravity wells'. What ar…
